Mr. Quigley has more than 20 years of experience in solving complex engineering problems as well as leading and managing major projects and running organizations. Before founding and leading Opti, he was a Principal at Geosyntec Consultants and past member of the Board of Directors. As a national technical leader he has extensive experience in passive and active stormwater and green infrastructure design and construction, research and development, modeling, data analysis, integration of information technologies, and environmental field data acquisition. Mr. Quigley has co-authored numerous national guidance manuals for monitoring of stormwater runoff and evaluating and designing stormwater best management practices for the USEPA, the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, the Water Environment Research Foundation, and the Federal Highway Administration. Mr. Quigley holds an MS in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and a BS in Environmental Engineering from Notre Dame.
Mr. Rubinstein brings over 35 years of experience in building and scaling high tech startups. At Opti, he leads all day-to-day operations and is focused on aligning the organization structure and teams to scale the business. Prior to joining Opti, he held senior executive roles and was responsible for setting the strategy, operations, and structure at several high-growth SaaS organizations, including DataXu, Inc., Resolve Technology, and Invoke Solutions. He was also instrumental in leading Convergent Group to a successful IPO and the subsequent sale of the company to Schlumberger. Mr. Rubinstein brings a customer-centric point of view to business operations, helping his organizations bring strategically valuable offerings to its customers. He began his career at Accenture and shortly co-founded a systems integration consulting firm that was rated as one of the top 10 boutique systems integrators by Gartner Group in 1990. Mr. Rubinstein graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with a BS in Management with Computer Science, and served as Student Body President.
Mr. Holden is a strategic finance and operations professional with over 15 years experience. At Opti, he oversees finance, accounting, human resources, legal, and real estate functions. Prior to Opti, he spent over 12 years at Eze Castle Integration, a hedge fund technology and cloud services provider, where he finished his tenure as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. During his time at Eze Castle, he managed the company’s US financial operations and spearheaded the establishment of international operations in both Europe and Asia. He has also held the role of Vice President, Finance and Operations, at Forward Financing. He began his career at The Parthenon Group, a global strategic advisory firm. Mr. Holden holds an AB, Magna Cum Laude, in Mathematics from Dartmouth College and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Finance and Accounting from The University of Liverpool.
Mr. Bedig is driven to deploy market-valued, observation-based environmental information services because he believes developing new valuations of verifiable environmental behaviors can improve environmental justice outcomes. He joined Geosyntec Consultants in 2009 to lead research and software development on the project that would become the Opti Platform. Since 2010, he has been simultaneously working on Opti and pursuing a doctorate in Hydro Informatics at Tufts University. His doctoral research focuses on discovery of publicly available hydrologic data sets. Mr. Bedig holds an MS in Water Resources Engineering and a BS in Engineering Science from Tufts University.
